Sharp criticism of society aside, this is because people want to find out what is “wrong” and fix it at the root of the problem, and not just make the pain stop. Good for us all.
Looking to 2025, this community will have to grapple with the rise of several new tools and techniques that got hot in late 2024. Among them, sound healing, breathwork, and energy medicine are gaining momentum in this campaign. Why them and not all of the other good ones out there? Read on to find out what I think!
This connection between mind and body is drawing closer and closer together with each new post-cum-article on Medium about what it means to feel this or that in your head, neck, or knees.
Coupled with this new “world” outlook humans have developed, people are ready to find some alternative ways to heal others and navigate life holistically. That is, how they want to. Not how “you” want to. That isn’t even possible if you think about it. I don’t even know who you are.

The surge in interest in holistic therapies represents a pivot in how the world is viewing the health experience. Humans are comprised of, yes, a body, but also a mind, a spirit, and however many other elements of being a metaphysical organism we have yet to discover.
The potential we will find with holistic therapies is an idea that we have already started to dive into today. We can expect this practice to carry its momentum well into the future.
The biggest thing here with holistic therapy, I see as a trend by 2025, is the fact that this kind of practice, acupuncture, aromatherapy, mindfulness, or whatever else, is something that you can do. It’s not invasive; it’s also incredibly pleasurable and relaxing for the most part.
But most of the time, it’s something that any person can physically try for themselves and is also licensed for further application in some parts of the world. We can make this a daily practice as well. The opportunity with digital practice will make home-based sessions even more effective as we go. Most importantly, the point of this kind of approach is to aid in the longevity of human health. There’s the stack-up right there of, ‘oh, that’s what I need.’ Here’s a list.
The treatment itself, with wisdom practices like Yoga and Meditation, as a solid point of anecdotal research, and mixed if not ever-so-slightly in the average green for scientifically backed, will have more success than many other drugs due to their ability to last. You can also approach them at a slightly higher level of human discussion.

Sound healing therapy uses the science behind vibrational frequencies to support healing. With tools like singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks, this therapy works by creating frequencies that interact and “sync up” with the body’s natural centers of sound and energy vibration to promote healing and well-being. Knowing this, it begins to make sense why this type of therapy is often referred to as “vibrational” or sound energy healing. The theory and surrounding principles that back sound healing are far too extensive to discuss here, as I want to discuss and explain a few more types of holistic healing methods that are predicted to “blow up” even more this year!
Breathwork and pranayama to get your lungs in gear. Our breath is our life force. Without breath, there is no human life. Ancient practices and civilizations have known the importance of the breath and have been using it to find mental clarity, emotional peace, and physical relaxation for centuries, and it’s time you did too.
Energy healing and energy “medicine,” which include practices like Reiki and Healing Touch. Each of our body’s cells holds a particular frequency. When these frequencies become disrupted through both internal and external stressors, illness can occur. These forms of healing work by rebalancing your cells’ energy frequencies to restore the individual affected to optimum health.

Several popular healing modalities, such as yoga, acupuncture, and mindfulness meditation, may take a holistic approach to health that includes mental, emotional, and physical health. These practices address the body-mind-heart connection:

For those who are interested in holistic health, the transformation happens by taking actionable steps. This might mean exploring different kinds of healing modalities, meditation, yoga, energy healing, and creating a list of the ones that resonate with you. The idea is not to get a degree in any of this stuff, but to gain a foundational level of understanding from books and reputable websites. Based on that, you can decide if you want to go on a deep dive into anything specific.
The best way to explore is at workshops and in local classes. Community centers and some yoga classes will host intro-style seminars that can get your hands involved in some of these practices. You’ll also get to explore these practices within a community, which creates an enjoyable experience. You can learn from the people and culture. Look for these workshops on the main street and in the brochures section.
Some of these courses can also be found online. Websites like Udemy, Coursera, and even specialized websites explore healing in various ways. Most of these courses are already built in communities that help groom the “beginner through the advanced” level of healer in you. Polish your education with these courses that will add “credibility” to the profile you need to create of yourself.
Also, find communities in the genre that you’re in or going after. Explore this community’s “power users,” the “whales,” and the people who roll on “your” level. Feel free to clone yourself or create a version of the influencer that you’re most passionate about. Trust the vibes that will attract the right clients for your new healing business.
By 2025, those in the wellness world are saying yes, please! You see, our wellness world is increasingly holistic, with mind-and-body therapies making up most of the top five wellness modalities – with acupuncture, sound therapy, breathwork, and herbal medicine, and “energy healing” building out the list of what’s next to try. The positive? Each one is designed to fill a different need. Many people will benefit from work in multiple areas, helping people live with less physical pain, better emotional positivity, likely both, and possibly beyond. The modalities each boast of having their potential, including:
