Building Community in a Fast-Paced World: Reconnect Through Wellness and Holistic Support

In a time defined by increasingly developed technology and packed schedules, it may feel lonely at times. In the rush, you might find yourself nostalgic for the sensation of genuine connection.

You also might not quite realize that you are feeling disconnected, which then shows up as feelings of loneliness or not feeling as though you are a part of a community.

The community should take a front seat in the lives of those seeking support from others. Celebrations. Wellness. Friendships. Relationships. Love. When you have a community of people that you can share these with, you will feel infinitely more at peace with yourself.

The more you feel as though you are a part of the community, the more you will feel like-minded and understood, and you feel as though you are seen and that other human beings value you.

These are a few ways that you can ultimately find your inner tribe:

Most of the time, you must find them in person. Yoga, SoulCycle, and volleyball serve.
Ice-breaking speed-dating events, something nerve-provoking that preys on your initial physical or personality attraction.

Move into a neighborhood or area where the usual outcome is running into individuals that you find most interesting, yet don’t look like Tinder-fakes!

Go to local events. Don’t choose the people; let their energy choose you, then charm them with your personality, not your sexuality, ability to buy them things, or anything else that’s inherently crude.

If you’ve read the other articles or if you still need more Energy Offering advice, try something deeper. With something a bit existential, you’ll go far.

If you haven’t already gone deep into this booklet, remember that anyone interested will automatically exude this energy.

Spiritual Community Building

Nothing is as critical to having the support you need during your deep exploration as creating a spiritual community. This can mean anything from starting or joining a group that focuses on something of personal interest to you (e.g., meditation, yoga, philosophy circles) to participating in workshops or retreats. In these communities, every human has experience that can be built upon to enhance our work. Being connected is being engaged in life’s creation.

Connecting with Healers and Seekers

Connecting with Healers and Seekers

Connecting with healers and those in search of healing is at the heart of my personal and community growth. Healers come in all forms: therapists, holistic practitioners, and spiritual guides are just a few of the people I turn to. Each has within it some vital part of this society’s medicine. And I love to find that part and share it. They can provide you with a nugget of wisdom you haven’t yet come across, or at most, be the piece of your puzzle that supports you for years to come during a massive transformation. Seekers will typically be people like you; people who are looking for clarity, still healing, and/or searching for something (themselves)—your community.

Here are a few ways I have found to help your search (for both healers and seekers):

⦁ Namaste Network (online directory of wellness providers and seekers)
⦁ Community centers
⦁ Health (usually listed as “holistic”) fairs
⦁ Online (Instagram has been the most fruitful in my experience)

In many cities, meetups (www.meetup.com) happen regularly where healers commune, and you can find what you like. There may be directories or Facebook groups for your area of healers that you should pop into. I recommend checking out Eventbrite workshops. Often, Reiki shares or group meditations of some sort are pushed out, and you will find like-minded people there, including healers. Do you resonate with them? Does their personality vibe with your journey thus far?

Take this journey to get to know your area better, get to know yourself better, and get to know the wide range of abilities we each have as “healers,” the latent ability we each carry (at least a little) within ourselves, and those who have taken schooling (self-taught or otherwise) to present that best. This list is not exhaustive, but rather a good starting point; you will find other means based on your journey.

Understanding the Need for Community

Understanding the Need for Community

No one can deny how fast life is and how vital community may be for us. We are more isolated every day because of our work schedules, limited social interaction, and basic human needs. One of these vital human needs is the construction of emotional relationships that bring us happiness, and to counteract stress and the evil of the 21st Century, anxiety. Being part of a community can mean not being alone while facing the difficulties of life or just knowing that you can count on them alone, which is known to combat loneliness.

Failing to reap these emotional rewards, being deconcentrated can unleash a multitude of harmful effects on the health of most of the Earth’s population. Anxiety, depression, and symptomatology (as well as physiological stress, increased serum LDL, increased blood glucocorticoids …) only increase strongly in people who do not have an emotional base or expressions, adequate plaintive emotions. One solution to increasingly successful symptomatology may be to promote Holistic Community Support. Within this same community, it is necessary to love and protect only emotional expression, sexual expression, the possibility of improving physical expression, or improving the spiritual connection, among others.

We (happier humans) may be one more animal, but we are clever animals. We do not know how to transform/evolve; we are animals who can do it. We are beings of great honor who will be able to carry with you the burdens of your entire community, as well as the desires of your community to help expand it.

Reconnect Through Wellness

Reconnect Through Wellness

Connecting with others is done best through techniques like yoga and meditation, which are beneficial. You must be present with all the activities, so it gives more authenticity to your interactions with the people around you. Sharing space with someone can create a love and friendship that you might not otherwise experience. The importance of physical space is key. This can apply to any activity; most classes are group-oriented, and many people will go on fun little vacation retreats to meditate in a different country with a different vibe to gain a different perspective with people who all aim to see the same thing: the end of suffering (dukkha). Physically experiencing the same thing with someone can put you in a friendly and awkward state that can get very personal very fast, and give you a different sense of someone else’s life, and you might start to unpack someone’s pain. This vulnerability is a newfound intimacy that forces you to trust and/or be more empathetic for what you hear. You must be a good person and get some good karma (brownie points).

The most important thing about wellness is that it is okay for everything to be normalized. You should start practicing wellness, and you should even tell people the type of things you think others can appreciate! The strength that can be gained from someone’s perspective can completely change someone’s self-esteem.

Finding Your Wellness Tribe

Finding Your Wellness Tribe

Your wellness tribe is crucial to your wellness journey. To find this tribe, it is best to start your search online. You can find many social media groups, wellness forums, and apps. With the apps, you have choices: Namaste Network, Meetup, and Eventbrite are three of the best for finding in-person wellness functions. So, sign up for a yoga class or enroll in a meditation workshop, and meet other people who share your interests. I like to use the keyword “wellness tribe” in searches to find tribes that I can vibe with.

Also, take the opportunity to attend these classes. Sure, join Facebook groups, but don’t forget that there are opportunities to build face-to-face connections with people as well. Local meetups are great! Many communities have gyms or community centers that host wellness days. Look for any wellness fair, that’s where the people who take care of their health will be hanging out!

In this fast-paced world, we can easily feel a sense of disconnection in our day-to-day lives. On the flip side, some of the major antidotes to the speed effect are community, wellness, and spirit. Such antidotes allow you to enjoy life while living in tune with your inner being, using your acquired knowledge to improve and evolve, ameliorate self-destructive behavior, and support your neighbors.

Community: Every human desires connection above all else. Connection is the primary example of positivity made manifest on Earth. Groups are beings of high positive energy as positive energy is composed, and thereby given their structural boundaries, via the hand of connection.

Positive energy (conductive energy) is the highest form of energy in the entire universe. The combined power of connection (pos. energy x pos. energy) is simply euphoric.

Wellness: Wellness is the whole spectrum in which one finds oneself about one’s personal, social, cultural, workable, and spiritual needs. Assuming this is true, once one begins to experience a great deal of negative energy, they usually choose to resist (feeding it). So, let’s choose to focus on wellness to create something positive and worthy of discussion.

Spirit: Now, just for a second, I want to speak to those looking to become a part of a movement, the superior soul (spirit) of internet marketing, who, under normal circumstances, would not have had this talk.

All three of the above-listed opt-ins are explicitly crafted toward you. Share this with members of your tribe, or people that you think may find this helpful.
