Dr. Koekkoek received a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree form the prestigious Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, in San Diego, CA. She completed a curriculum based on the integration of bio-medicine with the modern and classical application of Chinese medicine. The purpose of her continued education in her Doctoral program allowed her to foster self-directed learning and critical thinking skills within the framework of traditional Chinese medicine. These studies helped develop and deepen the knowledge and skills in progressive patient care. Sadly after working for Mercy Health ST. Mary's hospital for 7 years, the department was closed due to COVID-19, however, she is now welcoming patients to her new practice.
Rhythmic poses anchored by conscious breath control.
Therapeutic techniques to restore balance and inner clarity.
Guided meditation and intentional awareness training.
Elena's classes are the highlight of my week. Her voice is incredibly soothing, and she has a way of really making the most challenging poses feel accessible and purposeful.
I started as a complete beginner. Elena's patience and precise adjustments helped me build a practice from the ground up — the studio vibe is unmatched.
