Shaolin Kempo Academy has been a part of the Shoreline communities including Branford, East Haven, North Branford, Fair Haven and Morris cove since 1984 making us the oldest and longest running martial arts and fitness school in the area. We have a class for pretty much every member of the family ages 3-103. Tiny Tigers 3-6 yr olds (think karate pre school) Kempo - 7 - adults (self defense based class with an emphasis on character development through martial arts training) Kick Boxing - both kids and adults (Incredibly fun and a killer workout) Yoga 12-adults - improve flexibility, stress relief and general well being with this combination of Yin, Vinyassa and Gentle Flow class. Zumba - Dance fitness

Elena's classes are the highlight of my week. Her voice is incredibly soothing, and she has a way of really making the most challenging poses feel accessible and purposeful.
I started as a complete beginner. Elena's patience and precise adjustments helped me build a practice from the ground up — the studio vibe is unmatched.
