The Movement Underground was born in the fire of athletic competition. Founder, Mike Stella, once a competitive lacrosse player on Long Island, had his collegiate career derailed by injuries. After surgeries and countless physical therapy visits, he realized the current system is just an insurance mill, and not built for people who want to address their issues, improve performance, and get the most out of their body. The Movement Underground is different. Utilizing a comprehensive, full body movement assessment allows us to identify markers for pain and injury, and 1 on 1, tailored hands on sessions and customized mobility programming get to the root of pain, injury and lack of performance.
